The concert, called Dudley Festival of Remembrance, is at the Town Hall, Dudley, on Thursday, November 7. ![]() In Dudley, there’s a memorial concert as well as the Remembrance Sunday service. ![]() These affect Broad Street from Paradise Circus to Sheepcote Street, between 9.30am and noon Cambridge Street from Brindley Drive to the island at the rear of the Repertory Theatre, between 7am and 12.30pm and the first part of Cambridge Street to Brindley Drive, between 11.20am and 11.50 am. Traffic restrictions will be in force on the day. The Parade will disperse in Cambridge St. The Rev Victor Van Den Bergh will conduct the Service of Remembrance and the Bishop of Birmingham, the Right Rev David Urquhart, will lay a wreath.ġ1am - Volley rifle fire followed by two minutes silenceġ1.02am - Volley of rifle fire followed by bugler playing reveille, a hymn (The Salvation Army will lead the singing of O God our Help in Ages Past), Act of Commitment, The Lord’s Prayer, blessing, wreath laying led by the Lord Mayor, march past and conclusion. In Birmingham, the Remembrance Sunday service and parade for 2013 will be in Centenary Square on Sunday, November 10. Birmingham and the West Midlands will be honouring members of the armed forces who lost their lives in the line of duty with Remembrance Day services in the region. ![]()
