This is the service’s first foray into content that is not on-demand. In October 2020, Tubi launched News on Tubi – giving users access to a selection of local news live streaming channels. If you choose to create an account, you gain the ability to add items to your list to watch later and to pause TV shows and movies on one device and continue watching them later on that or a different device. In 2020, they were acquired by Fox Corporation (yes, that Fox). Tubi, formerly known as “Tubi TV,” has been around since 2014. Note: You need a mouse to sign in after that everything works with your remote. Now you have the contour app on your tv and all channels no need for a cable box. Once you sign in the contour app will automatically open and you’re done. It will open Firefox or Chrome and allow you to sign in. Edit: I’m pretty sure Xfinity created the app and Cox put their branding on it so you can also try it on the Xfinity version of the app. ![]()
